My Bike Riding Ballarina and Her Side Kick!!

Last week was a busy week! We had on Thursday parent view day at ballet. Since they have not moved into their new studio yet, their current place is too small for moms to come in each week and watch. So twice a year they have parent view week where we get to come in and watch what they have learned for the recital, which is in June!! Then on Friday Caymin had outside day at her school. They all could bring their bikes and ride and play outside all day! They had a blast and as you can see Carson thought this was his class too!! Never missed a beat and was doing everything they did! He is a mess! Caymin will be graduating from Pre-K on Wednesday! Can you believe my baby girl will be in Kindergarten??? Makes me sad and proud all at the same time! She has learned so much this year and I am so proud of her. She can spell all her colors, knows most of the sounds of the alphabet and can sound out many words on her own, can count to 100+, knows about our solar system and the state of Tennessee just to name a few! Not to brag too much about her but I am very proud of what she has learned from Miss Shelly this year!!!

To tell a story on Carson, as we were getting ready to leave for school that morning, after he had already had a shower, (not sure why he always waits until we are leaving for something to cause problems) Carson comes running in our bathroom, pants already pulled up, saying he poo pooed and wiped himself! He was so proud. We have really been working with him to make him yell for us when he is done so that we can help him wipe. As I am sure you can image, he does not do a very good job on his own! But he just thinks he is a big boy and can do it "by myself"! Anyway, as I escorted him back to his bathroom I walk in and noticed on the WHITE step stool their was BROWN smeared ALL over it!!!!!!!! He says in the most Innocent voice, "Mommy what is that?" As I later figured out, after I just about killed him, that he had gotten up off the potty, "wiped himself", and then sat down on the stool to put his underwear and shorts back on! Hear we go back to the shower!!! And no I did not get a picture of this event! As much as I laugh about it now, behind his back of course, it was not close to being funny at the time. My wild and crazy boy! He does add excitement to our lives!

My Ballerina

Can you tell they have been working on going places in a single file line! Except my son of course! Following rules is not one of his strong points!

Caymin and Avery riding their bikes!
The Wild Man!!
Our friend Sophie graduated from Pre-K this past week! We celebrated with her! And yes she is just about 6 months younger than Caymin! They will both be going to kindergarten in the fall even though she is smaller than Carson who is 3! :)
Caymin practicing her tap dance "A Happy Little Ditty" by Sherly Temple. This was at the very end of class and you can tell her ADD was about to kick in! She was just about done with dance class, but cute anyway!
