Chief Running Bear

At School on Tuesday, Carson got to dress up in his Indian shirt, hat, necklace and drum that he made. I just happened to be there on the day they got to decorate their drums. Carson drew about 5 scribbles, in blue of course, on his drum and said he was done so he could go play. While the girls had almost completely color the yellow paper around the drum in all different colors! I guess that is a boy for you!!
They did a lot of fun things on this day to celebrate Thanksgiving! He loved it and loved being dressed up. What a ham, like his Dad! :)
The name Carson picked out to be was Chief Running Bear~
His face was just too funny!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for.

They want to be just like Daddy!

The other night after the varsity game was over the JV played a scrimmage. Chris went down and sat on the bench and the kids were dieing to go with him. He let them go and it was such a cute site. They look up to him and love him so much. So glad they have such a good Daddy!

This photo opt lasted for about 3 mins. They got wild and Chris sent them back up to me! :)
Too Sweet!

My Friends Sarah and Jeremy got Married!

My friends Sarah and Jeremy got married this weekend. It was so pretty and so much fun catching up with old friend from High School. Sarah and Jeremy both went to high school with me and were friends growing up, liked each other but never dated until a few years ago. The rest is history! :) Congrats guys!!
I didn't take many pictures and this one did not turn out well, but you get the idea!

Caymin the Model!

Kelly's Kids, one of our favorite brands of clothing, was having their fall meeting of all the reps here in Nashville last week. Our friend Jill who sells Kelly's Kids asked Caymin to be in the Kelly's Kids fashion show that showcased the spring line to all of their reps. Caymin had a ball and loved it. It was a little unorganized and no real runway walking, but Caymin nor the reps seemed to mind. The kids got on stage showed off their outfit, hopped down, ran to change into the next outfit and back to the stage. I think Caymin changed clothes about 5 times!! She had so much fun. To top it off, we got to shop at the big Kelly's Kids sale the day before everyone else. This sale has all the leftover pieces from the fall season and they sell them for just $10!!! Such great deals, but I spent way too much money! :) Thanks Jill for asking us to participate!!

One of my favorite outfits she wore!
The bikini!! She was a little worried about wearing it, but once it was on it didn't bother her a bit! :)
The tennis dress, a little short I thought! :)
Last outfit! Fun times!

Our Little Indian!

Last Wednesday, Caymin had her school Thanksgiving program. Her class dressed up like Indians. I had gone to school that week and helped the kids make their hats and shirts. The program was really cute and they preformed it in front of the whole school plus all the kindergarten parents. They sang three or four cute songs and told a story about the Indians, Pilgrims and Turkeys. During the first song, Caymin got to play the drums. She did great job and kept the rhythm really well. Takes after her mother or course! :) We were very proud of her. Way to go Caymin!!
Here is "Yellow Butterfly"!

Santa came to Ace Hardware

Last weekend, Santa came to Ace Hardware on Charlotte Pike. Our friend Maymie's dad has some pull over there and got us into see him. Last year Carson didn't really like him and Caymin wouldn't have a thing to do with him. So I was worried that it would be the same way again this year, but it wasn't! They walked right up to him told him what they wanted, sat in his lap and said cheese. So I got a good picture of them with Santa after all! Thanks Missy! You took some great pictures!

Telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas.
Cute Kids, if I do say so myself!!

Meeting Baby Addison...

Our friends Jay and Amber welcomed their first baby girl into the world yesterday, on 11/11 at 2:16 pm. She weighed 8 lbs and 13 oz and has the longest eye lashes I have ever seen. She is very cute and has two big brothers that were so excited to meet her.

Congrats Jay, Amber, Bryson and Jayson!

Train Day at the Adventure Science Center

On Saturday, we went to the Adventure Science Center. They were having Train Weekend and we knew Carson would love it. There were so many train displays set up for the kids to look at as well as several that the kids could operate. Joyce and Larry (aka Gommer and PopTart) went with us since Larry is really into trains as well. The kids and Larry loved it and had a great time.
Carson and Caymin running the train!
These trains were just to look at, but that was so hard to do!
Carson driving Engine #9!
Carson and Daddy playing Dance Revolution. Neither were very good at all!
As we left we ran in to R2D2! My kids really didn't know who he was but they enjoyed watching him all the same!
There was a robotics area and Carson and some random kid were asked to see if they could pull this "thing" backwards while the guy used the remote to make it go forward. They could not!

Caymin's First Field Trip

Last week Caymin got to go on her first field trip to the Discovery House in Murfressboro. I had never been there, but it was a really neat place. There was so much for the kids to see and do. We had a blast. Caymin was more excited about riding the school bus than she was about going to the Discovery House. :)
Caymin and her buddy Bryson waiting to get on the bus!
She was too excited to see what it was like on the big yellow cheese!
Caymin playing at the water table.
Caymin and Addison trying to make waves!
The class learning about an owl!
Caymin was a little apprehensive about the animals they got to see and pet!
Her face in this picture says it all. It does what? and You want me to touch what?
But I was so proud of her for touching the snake! I would not have!
Then she even touched a Possum that had no eye balls! YUCK!
Caymin and her friends learning and playing a game about fossils.
Caymin coming down the very large and curvy slide!
This was my favorite part, the Shadow Room. The paint on the walls had phosphorus in it which made it glow. When the lights were on, they made silly poses up against the wall so the light could not reach the wall. Then....
When they turned the lights out and moved away from the wall, this is what you saw! Cool!!!
Me and my big girl!
Caymin, Sloan and Addison driving the big car.

On the way home from the field trip! Cute Girls!
While we were gone, Nana came to the house and stayed with Carson. I think they had a big time!
