Carson's 4th Mario Cart Birthday Party

This year Carson wanted a Mario Cart Birthday party. We decided that since we only have two Wii remotes that it would not be very fun for 10 kids to play. So we told everyone to bring their bikes and riding toys and we set up a race track outside for them. The track started out as a great idea but eventually turned into a dangerous place to be. We had kids that could ride fast without training wheels to kids that were just riding big wheels. One to many crashes and we had to close "Carson's Circuit". We just let the kids ride free and they had just as much fun. He got lots of great gifts and was so excited about his day! He actually fell asleep on the couch about 6pm.

We got him a bike this year for his Birthday. Chris was sick of seeing him ride Caymin's princess bike! :) His party this year was on a Sunday afternoon so when we got home from church we surprised him with his present. From the picture below, I think he was pretty excited! :)
This is him on his first bike. We did eventually take it back and trade it in for a much better bike. This one was a piece of crap, to say it nicely. The one he picked out and has now is actually bigger than this one. He loved it and we figured he could grow into it. I will post pictures of the new bike soon.
The Mario Cart Mushroom Cupcakes.
Mario plates and napkins of course

The set up!
Chris explaining "Mario Circuit" to everyone!
Blowing out the candles.
He was proud of himself. And notice, he had to have the Mario shirt we saw at Target one day to wear for his party! :)
The bike helmet just does not do much for Carson's hair! ha :)
Jake and Carson eating cupcakes
He was so ready to get back and play that he shoved half the cupcake in his mouth! Crazy man!
So excited over his toys.
More great toys!
