Proud of my Baby Girl!!

Last week at Caymin's ballet studio, the play "Oz the Musical" was going to be holding auditions for munchkins in their play when the come to Nashville. Caymin and a few of her friends tried out and MADE IT!! She is going to be on the stage at TPAC in "Oz the Musical" We are still unsure of the dates but it will probably be in mid June. I will keep everyone updated in case you can come and see my STAR in action! :)
A few weeks ago, Caymin ran in Fun Run at her school. This is the PTO's way of raising money for the school and teachers. Each kid collects donations and sees how many laps they can run. I was so impressed that Caymin ran 15 laps in 30 mins which we figured out was about 3 miles!! Go girl! Wednesday was the Fun Run assembly at her school. They recognized each student from each class that raised the most money and ran the most laps! Caymin won a medal for running the most laps and our friend Bryson won a medal for raising the most money! Then at the end they gave a trophy to the class, out of the whole school, who raised the most money and our class WON!!! Yea!! I am very proud of my girl!

Kindergarten Celebration and Field Trip

At Nolensville, the kindergarten does not have a "graduation". They have a celebration program. They all got to say a little something in the microphone about what they learned in Kindergarten and then they sang songs that they had been learning throughout the year. It was really cute. After that, they had the celebration field trip which was a ride on the Music City Queen. A local river boat on the Cumberland river. Of course the day we went it was pouring rain. Luckily they had lots of inside seating. Chris took the day off and went with us. Caymin loved it and we had fun. Just can't believe my baby is almost a first grader! When did that happen! :)

Chase and Caymin are NOT boyfriend and girlfriend, if you ask Caymin. But I caught the holding hands in deep conversation. Cute!
Yea, Daddy got to go with us!
On the boat ride!!
They were all watching out the window as we cruised down the river!

Welcome Miss Brooklyn Cecylia Pring

On April 21st, my friend Holly had her second baby! This time it was a girl, Brooklyn Cecylia Pring! Her labor was so quick but I got there just in time to hear Brooklyn cry through the door. She is just too cute. Congrats David and Holly!

Easter 2009

We had a great Easter weekend. We started with coloring eggs. They turned out really cute. Caymin and Carson were proud of them. Easter morning we got up and went to church and then headed over to Gommer and Poptarts for some yearly family photos. The stress of it all was well worth it in the end. We got some great pictures. After pictures we were invited to Lance's sisters house for lunch. Gommer's kitchen is being renovated so she was not able to cook this year. Lunch was great and the kids had fun playing outside together. It was a beautiful day. We then came home and met Nana and Poppa at our house for round 2!! For some reason we did not take any pictures but we had loads of fun with them as well. It was an all around great Easter!

Didn't they turn out cute?
Carson fell asleep on the way home that night so he did not take part in the Easter Bunny preparation. But Caymin was ready for him!!
The Easter Bunny DID come!!
They were so excited! Don't you just love Carson's pjs that he picked out the night before!

Carson's Easter Party at school

Carson's Easter Party at school this year was during Chris and Caymin's spring break. It worked out well so that Chris and Caymin could both party with us. They ate pizza, had a visit from the Easter Bunny and hunted eggs. Lots of fun!
