A day at the park with Lucas and Holly

The other day we went to the park and Chick-fil-a with my friend Holly and her son Lucas. The boys had so much fun. Here are some pictures of them acting silly on the swings!

Carson loves to put his blue chair on the couch, sit in it and watch TV. Twice within two days we went into the play room to check on the kids and found him asleep sitting in his chair!! Poor guy he will sleep anywhere!!

Fun at the Shanks

We were invited over to our friends Brad, Wendi, Katie and Mason's house for dinner. Brad and I went to school together and Katie and Caymin play on the same soccer team. We have been saying that we need to get together since our kids are the same ages. Well we did and the kids had a blast! Fun times were had by all! Thanks Shanks Family!!

The girls were a mess. They were staying in Katie's room with the door locked all night. I tried to go in and take a picture and this is what I got! Two little girls running and being silly!! But they had a blast!!

Last Soccer Game

Caymin's last soccer game was this weekend. She has really come along way in soccer and is getting better and better each season. She has gotten much better using her left foot when dribbling as well as stopping the ball with her foot, pulling it back and turning and dribbling the other direction. She loves to "pull it back". A move they have worked on teaching the kids this year. Her new thing that she working on is the "L" move or as we call it the Elmo! :) To hard to explain ~ Cousin Jeff (the soccer star of the family) you should know what we are talking about!! :) Once we get good at it, I will post a video! She thinks she will be big time when she can do that in a game!! :) I am glad she has gotten into soccer! We think she is pretty good! :)

HALLOWEEN!!

We had lots of fun this year for Halloween. We got dressed up as Woody and Jessie from the movie Toy Story and waited for Nana and Poppa to stop by and trick or treat with us! They brought the kids a BAG FULL of stuff before the night even began. They enjoyed Nana and Poppa stopping by! Then we went over to our friend Mr. Don's house to trick or treat. I think Mr. Don dumped two full bags of mini candy bars in the kids bags! Then on to our friends Troy, Julie, Ellie and Max's house. We had a great dinner there and then hopped into the back of Grumpy's (Ellie Grandfather/Troy's Dad/Ms. Sandra's (Carson teacher) husband) truck and took off to trick or treat. They loved riding in the back of the truck as much as they loved getting the candy, until it got too cold! :) We met up with the Harrington's, Jay, Wendy, Jake & Sophie and trick or treated with them too. We had a great Halloween!

Carson's Halloween Party

Last Thursday, Carson had his Halloween party at school. Me and my friend Julie, Ellie's mom, made cute pumpkin place mats for all the kids to eat on. We set up the tables real cute and the kids were excited when they came back from the playground to get the party started. The kids ate, got dressed up and trick or treated around the church for lots of candy.

Chris went into check on Carson the other night and could not get the door to open much. After peeking around the door he realized that Carson was the door stop. For whatever reason he had gotten out of his bed and decided to fall asleep by the door.

Pumpkin Carving...

We carved our pumpkin the other night. Caymin nor Carson wanted to touch the stuff inside the pumpkin. They both would try and put there hands down in there and act like they were going to help clean stuff out but when it came down too it they both were wimps!! Dad got a little creative this year and carved Bob the Bat into the pumpkin! It turned out cute and we like it!!

The Pumpkin Patch

Sunday after chuch we headed to Walden Farms to the pumpkin patch. This is a great place and they have so much for the kids to see and do. We picked out pumpkins for carving, rode the hayride, went through the kid hay maze, saw the animals at the petting zoo and checked out all the things to play on. We were joined by Gommer and the Finley's. We had a great time. So glad we got to go because Caymin was suppose to go to Walden Farms on Thursday but had to miss it because she had strep. :(
